High surf prompts evacuation warnings in Ventura

- An evacuation warning has been issued for a part of Ventura due to high surf impacting structures in the area. According to Ventura County officials, the warning was issued shortly after 10 a.m. for residences bordering Pacific Coast Highway in between Seacliff Avenue south to Emma Wood Group Camp.
“The Ventura County Fire Department is encouraging individuals to avoid the coastal areas during the storm and high surf warning,” officials said on X, formerly Twitter. “All City, State and County beaches and parks along the coastline are closed.”

I grew up on this beach by the pier. Only one time did see waves like these!

God then showed Mt tt I wld use my tongue which is d bow carried by the Knight in Rev 6:2. I also found tt d "strong and mighty man" was mentioned in isaiah 28 verse 2. So, it's not by might nor by power (physical strength) but by d Holy Spirit. Salvation is by d work of d Holy Spirit when we use our mouth to confess and call upon Jesus in belief - Romans 10. Around 1978, at a public church meeting, Dr Wesley Hurst, president of the AOG Church of America came and told me tt I was a chosen one and then placed his hand atop my head and d Holy Spirit rushed into me like a million volt of electricity and I became gifted with d power gifts. Then around 1980, at d St Andrews Cathedral, d Hand of God like a flame rested ON my right shoulder and 3 balls of fire came into me in the presence of Bishop Chiu who then acknowledged tt I was a chosen one. Studying in Houston in 1986, my car was hit by hearsts 18 wheeler which flew over d Road. Hospitalised unconcious with broken face, chest and leg, hearsts men and insurance men came to disturb me and behaved aggressively prompting Dr Parameswara to tell me tt I wld be killed after my discharge from d hospital. They sent 4 kkk to brutalise, terrorise and made 9 attempts to kill me secretly. Failing to kill me but succeeded in breaking my face and chest again, Americans then changed their tactics to get me killed by the authorities as in d story of Patty Hearst. I was strangled and an attempt made to break my neck at d Harris County Court and then dumped into jail. Judge Alex Green later ignored d cctv footage and locked me up in prison on 3 false charges. D Court later returned d verdict tt it was my fault tt hearsts 18 wheeler flew over d Road and thus, I was not entitled to claim insurance. I had to be medically retired from my job as a prison officer and lay pastor in Singapore. In great pains, God sent Dr Wayne Clark from S California to pray for me and a stream of the Fire of God flowed into me. God added d fire to the golden censer (me) and OVERTURNED it on d earth. God then gave me a vision somewhat similar to Ez 9 and gifted me with the 6 weapons /angels /plagues : wind, water, fire, earth, pestilences and wars (judges 9, d first such retribution of the release of devils causing wars and Americans terrorising Americans was 911). I saw God wielding an Axe devastating man /usa and God told me to command disasters on the usa until compensation paid as his Hand will fight for me against the usa. But usa kept murmuring and d axing became more and more and more until SUDDENLY, man /usa split as wide as d ocean. God also asked me to read Deuteronomy showing tt usa is cursed in d City, cursed in d country (like d cannanites and then, Israel) for doing injustices to strangers and helpless and touching God's anointed King. Like David who was anointed King 3 times, I have been anointed thrice with the anointings of Called, Chosen and Faithful to become a heavenly king, Army of Heaven to strike down d evil nations - monsters great red dragons committing monstrous moral distortions - Rev 17 and 19. God is love and therefore just and being d faithful one (trustworthy and unchanging), fulfilled d prophecy of psalms 18 to make me into David to turn d usa into dust.
My home town, this is nuts.
This happened in the mid seventies I think farther south. After it was over, and the water had gone over a big rock sea wall, across the street and onto lawns. When it was over there were amazing shells certainly from somewhere else. I still have black scallop shells from it. I made jewel boxes with shells inside. It was nuts but the results were interesting. Our weather warnings are better than then and certainly worth listening to. 🤟🏼

Such a terrifying force. I’m in Oxnard too. We have a massive dam not far, Lake Castaic. It’s much larger than the one that failed in 1926 and that was devastating. I got A.I. to crunch the numbers and what was 3-600 people back then (a lot of undocumented people worked and still work in the area) would be 30,000 today. There are photos of the devastation almost 100 years ago- railroad lifted up into the air in a twisted contortion.. we’re basically fvcked from both ends come the big rains. It shocks me how unknown it is. All so L.A. can even exist. That water is for them.

As a kid, possibly around 1980, we used to ride our bikes down the pier while waves shot water thru the gaps in the pier.
I love that area, visited my friend there twice from Nova Scotia where we are no stranger to high winds and surf winter and summer. I hope everyone stays safe!!
I could have told you this was going to happen a year ago because the last kings tides event took out docks in the harbor and eroded the beach so badly the normal high tide was getting near the houses. The state and county did nothing to prevent it from happening until after the houses got flooded.
Ancient Egyptians could have told them this was a bad idea.

I live in NS and some beaches are knows for large waves all year. That’s my motto, never turn your back cause u don’t know how big the next wave will be!

I am always impressed how people supposedly reporting live… outside and the wind is blowing the waves are crashing, but you don’t hear it in the background and their jackets etc are not caught up in the wind. Amazing🙄

@@Mr7141983 I spent the summer of 2004 in Thailand in the city of Patong Beach where the worst part of the tsunami came a shore. I didn't witness the wave because I was back home but when I got back to Patong Beach 4 months later I saw first hand what had been done by water. It was scary to see the devastation.
